The archives and their landing pages carry no licence statement. The models were produced for
DOE by its national laboratories (NREL, PNNL, LBNL). The energy.gov Web Policies
(https://www.energy.gov/web-policies) treat government information on DOE websites as public
domain, excluding third-party material, and ask that DOE be acknowledged. The atlas therefore
records these files as U.S. government work in the public domain with attribution requested,
and credits the U.S. Department of Energy wherever values derived from them are used.
